"After a game like the one played against Perugia on Friday night, it was hard to face right after two days a team like Modena. I believe that the best way to don’t blame the fatigue has been maintaining high adrenaline” - explained at the end of the match the coach of Trentino Volley Radostin Stoytchev: - “When we started to struggle in the third set, having nothing to lose anymore, the guys didn’t feel anymore any physical complaints but they gave everything they had. It 'was the turning point, but I want to emphasize that this victory is just about them, the athletes; I have nothing to do with it. I didn’t say anything special to Giannelli when he enter the field: I just asked him to play easy and this worked out! Now we must think to recover well and then we will think to face Game 2, although two days are not a lot”.
In three days, on Wednesday, May 6th, the team will be back on the field for Game 2. This match will be played at PalaPanini Modena starting at 8:30 pm (live on RAI Sport 1 and Radio Dolomiti). The trip to Emilia will offer to the Yellow-blues the opportunity to try to reach immediately 2-0 in the series.
